Little Stars Nursery Manager
Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies

Hi, My name is Jo and I am proud to introduce myself as the newest member of the Little Stars team.

I will be the manager at Little stars and I am very much looking forward to getting to know everyone. I have over 10 years experience working with children aged 2-11 years, 9 of those years as manager of a nursery and before and after school club. I qualified as a level 3 practitioner in 2008 and went on to gain a foundation degree in early childhood studies in 2015 with the intention of completing BA(Hons) in the same subject within the coming year.

It is my passion to support my team in understanding the fundamentals of Early childhood education and to combine the very best of care along with high quality learning opportunities in a safe and nurturing environment in order to fulfil each and every one of our children’s individual needs and abilities.

I am a firm believer that the first three years of a child’s life are some of the most important, and that we must all do our utmost to ensure that we have given every child the opportunity to be the very best version of themselves, fuelling a keen ethic for exploring and learning about the world around them.

As a parent to twin boys, I understand the importance of providing strong bonds with our families and I look forward to combining the knowledge and skills of the little stars staff along with strong communication with parents to bring out the individuality in each of the children who join us in our setting.
