Our Babies Bungalow Team

In this building the staff are selected not just for their experience and qualifications but for their loving and caring nature to look after our babies. The babies are also of the age where the most changes occur in their development in such a short space of time.

The staff are aware of each individual, their stage of development and what each baby needs next to thrive. Our staff are really focused on each of the babies individual routines.

Trainee Nursery nurse
Completing level 3

Hello! My name is Jess and I am proud to say I have been with Smarty’s for just over a year.

I am currently studying my NVQ level 3 and I am really excited to see where my career in childcare takes me. I was attracted to working with children because of the keen learning and creativeness they all have and I enjoy nurturing that in all the children I care for day to day! Seeing them focus on art work, whether it be messy painting or free colouring and the showing their mummies and daddies, it’s a really wonderful feeling seeing their sense of achievement.

Outside of work I enjoy spending my time with my littl girl, often planning adventures and day trips. We are both very outdoorsie and just have so much fun every day together regardless of what or where we end up! In my spare time I am an avid reader and learner of ancient history too.
