School & Holiday Club
Smartys popular before / after school and holiday club is based within the grounds of Pirehill First School operating from the main school hall sharing access to the school’s play grounds and outdoor space.
Fun and Active
All children are welcome to our before / after and holiday clubs. It is well stocked with excellent equipment for the children to enjoy with their friends. Our school and holiday club is a fun and active place to be.
Our children have access to a variety of crafts, computers, film nights, music and dancing, games, sports equipment including table football, snooker, table tennis, air hockey, day trips (holiday periods only), cooking, baking and much, much more …
Our children have full access to the main school hall and adjoining rooms, our younger children also share access to our pirehill pre-school class room.
We provide the children with breakfast consisting of toast and fruit and a light tea consisting of sandwiches and salad sticks. Fresh drinking water is available throughout the sessions or during the day. All children attending the holiday club are required to bring a packed lunch for the day.
All children attending the holiday club come from a variety of different schools and you do not have to attend the before and after school club to attend the holiday club.

Before each holiday club takes place a programme of events is given out to all parents detailing all of the exciting activities that will be taking place.
